Hi there,
I am sponsoring from Québec, so my wife has received her CSQ in December. We sent a copy of that with the police check background money we needed to send to the VO (Bogota hires an external firm to do the background checks). I am wondering if I could email them with my wife's B number to know if they received it. In the AOR, they mention that they do not say if they received documents or not. The problem with CSQ is that I have heard a lot of cases where the VO was waiting for the MICC to send a copy of the CSQ to the embassy. Even if they have my copy, I am pretty sure they are waiting for the official one if they haven't received yet...
I also want to write an email regarding if they have my wife's medical exams because her e-cas (and mine) haven't shown anything regarding Medical exams received. All it says on hers is that the application was received on december 3rd. So I would like to ask if they have got that too.
Now, I have been told by a lot of people that sending emails and asking questions about your case can make it longer because they usually perform ONE action on your case and then put it back at the bottom of the pile. For example, in this case, I ask a question, they open the file, answer me and put the file at the back of the pile, which means the advanced it took before me asking a question is now gone. Is this true??
Thanks a lot for your input...
