Hello all,

Do you, by any chance know how "Study Toward a Master's Degree" can be assessed and proved, and entered on the Express Entry profile?

This would be as a part of the "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years." level of education. I just noticed that the second "degree" can be "Study Toward a Master's Degree".

I have already completed a BA, which I had assessed with WES, but I have also done some studies towards my MSc (from Oct 2012 to May 2013).

Any thoughts about this, or anybody come across something similar?

Thanks!

The guide says:

ECA assessment results:

A three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree

PLUS any of the results in the sections below (not including secondary/high school), or:

Post-Bachelor's Certificate
Post-undergraduate
Post-Bachelor's Diploma
Post-undergraduate
Graduate Certificate
Graduate Certificate with a focus in
Postgraduate certificate
Postgraduate Diploma
Graduate Diploma with a focus in
Graduate
two-year Postgraduate Diploma, specializing in
two-year Bachelor’s after degree with a focus in [area of concentration]Footnote 1
one-year Postgraduate Certificate in [name of discipline]
one-year of graduate study with a focus in [area of concentration]Footnote 1
Study Toward a Master's Degree

WES can evaluate Bachelor's and Master's degrees only by the looks of it, so won't be able to evaluate any of the above....

Are you doing a part-time program?

Do you have any formal assessment/reports from the school?

Thanks for your reply, One_Topsy!

I have lectures attendance and project submissions reports (at least I can request them from the uni). I haven't sat any exams though... but attended lectures for one full academic year. I have interrupted my studies now and am no longer enrolled.

I saw the link to the PDF doc, but it doesn't day anything different:

**Note: Post-secondary educational credentials could also include Post-Bachelor's or Post-Graduate Credentials as follows: Post-Bachelor's
Certificate; Post-Bachelor's Diploma; Graduate Certificate; Postgraduate certificate; Postgraduate Diploma; a two-year Postgraduate Diploma,
specializing in [name of discipline]; a one-year Postgraduate Certificate in [name of discipline]; and, Study Toward a Master's Degree.
