My girlfriend recently moved in with me in Ontario and we are working towards the 12 months for common law status...
I am wondering what kinds of proof we should be gathering for common law proof and whether there are some easy ones. So far we have opened up a joint bank account and also got her G drivers license.
We are living with my parents currently so getting her on utility bills isn't exactly an option. Would it maybe be worth it to get her a cheap cellphone to get her name and address on the bills?
I am curious what people with experience of the process used as proof for this.. Any sort of help would be appreciated.
