Hi SATDXB,

Te doctor in Binbrek is a UAE national and a cardiologist while in healthbay, she's a hungarian and an infectious disease specialist.Sorry for asking again, but do you think it's favorable for me to go to healthbay?

Thanks a lot.
Yep, an European will be more frank and friendly then a local. She will be a good listener too.
So i suggest go for Healthbay.

All the best.

Hi,

You can check the HRSDC for full details of the social worker requirements, and here is the employment requirement, however I suggest you look for threads on similar subject as we debated this NOC several times.

Employment requirements

A bachelor's degree in social work is required in Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, British Columbia, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.

In Alberta, a bachelor's degree or diploma in social work is required.

In Saskatchewan, a bachelor's degree in social work is usually required.

Supervised practical experience is usually required.

Successful completion of provincial written and oral examinations may be required.

Registration with a provincial governing body is mandatory to practise as a social worker in Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario and Alberta.

Use of the titles "Social Worker" and "Registered Social Worker" is regulated in all provinces.

Membership in a provincial association of social workers is usually required.

Dear Meezo,
thanks for your prompt reply, but i am going to apply for skilled worker category, so do we require Social worker qualification or my normal Bachelor in Arts is enough?

Thanks again.

Balram.

The quals in Social Work isn't a deal breaker. As long as u have a considerable experience in your field - u r good to apply. Your Consultant is correct.

Hello Everyone!

I'm a Newbie, so please be gentle on me! ;D

I've decided to join this thread because I find it really useful and everyone seems to be friendly. Kudos to the one who created this thread!

Basically, I haven't started anything yet. I know, I've got a long way to go comparing all other peeps out here. I was not able to submit my documents coz' the cap for NOC 1122 has already been reached, so I have to wait by June/July 2012 to submit again. It's the only chance I could get since most of the PNP requires to you to have a job offer. :-\

But I also want to apply under the Provincial Nominee Program for Alberta/Manitoba. Is there anyone from UAE who was able to find an employer from here and been designated to work in Canada? or recruitment agencies from Canada that would hire foreign workers?

I'm almost done in completing the required documents to file under FSW but still waiting for July 2012 for it to re-open though I am not really sure where to submit my documents. Is it in Nova Scotia as stated in the CIC website or in London for Abu Dhabi applicants? Sorry if this question might have been asked already in the previous post (to read the overwhelming 400 pages of this thread alone would take me weeks and would leave me baffled. 8) )

Thanks and Regards.

May God bless us all.

Hi Jassig, congrats for getting the PPR.

And secondly, either you can send your PPs with a friend/relative to Dubai and he can courier it to CHC London. Or you can , if possible travel to UK and get the visa stamped in person. It takes 2 weeks. But its illegal to courier PPs to any country out from India.

All the best.

Cheers...

Hi, it should not. One of our forum member have got his wife and kid's PP stamped with visa from Dubai, and will carry it back to India.
And from there fly to Canada.

So dont worry dear. With Grace of God, all will go fine.

Cheers..

jassig,

Your mom should have an Authorisation Letter from you & your spouse to Carry all your Passports while exit/entry in India. and same thing u can say to immigration(if they ask) while u leave india.

Good Luck.
