me also in same boat they disturbed my two travel plans i submitted with covering letter and attached copies of ticket but still they havent bothered to sent back in time i dont know what the hell they doing for just stamping the visa they are holding passports of applicants there is no eligibility review or any decision making they have to take for visa issuing .....adilj82 said:

in person submission is closed in canada embassy AUH now, you have to send via VFS. i sent all passports and all docs via VFS including the covering letter, bro me very much calm for more than 3 weeks now professionalism doesn't mean that holding the passports unnecessarily for quiet long time just for stamping the visa. you are right SAM i applied two time for USA visit visa it took 8 months for them for decision and when they requested the passport for visa stamping i get back in 3 days ..... this is very simple nothing unusual they are doing all embassies work like that, when the case is decided and passports are requested its simply for visa stamping all the professional work is done at this stage eligibility, background checks, security checks for that they took almost one and half year so what the point of professionalism is stamping the visa ... same visa stamping before when in person submission was open u also get in half hour if u submit your travel plans ... so they should follow some procedure ..SAM_2014 said:
