thanks it means if any company give you job they cannot hire you in next 2 years. i dont think so its possible.
i think if any company contact you for interview means they can do something with immigration.

To all the members

I have just joined the forum today.Been a bit of a passive reader of this forum for quite some time and feel like I know most of the members already.
We applied in May 2007 from Dubai and were quite sure our papers will take a long time to get processed. We received our passports today ;D after a long wait with visa. When I collected them from the lawyers office I was too excited to check the relevant details. My wife just came home and realised all our visas have this plastic seal on them except my wife's passport.
Can anyone tell me if this will be a problem ? Has anyone else experienced this ? We plan to land in June 2012 during the kids school break

Also does anyone know if we need to write back to CHC London or can this be corrected from Abu Dhabi ?

1. Relax... it's a non-issue. U don't have to do anything - just prepare to 'land'.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE - medical in2 weeks..

Guys,

I got my medical requests. Was checking my blood pressure at home and found 170 / 100. Now, really feeling scared. Is it going to be a show stopper ? I know it's the last step in my PR and if something happens here, I am going to be upset for long.

Any advice, suggestions, etc..

Relax and retake the blood pressure again. If it is the same you have to see a doctor; you can't ignore BLP 170 / 100 not only for the immigration but for your heart and blood vessels. See a doctor to know n hear from him first before meeting the designated medical doctor. He will prescribe medications which can improve this figure in short time. Needless to say No salt

We went to Dr. Bin Brek

They are on Bank street.

Dr. Bin Brek Does most of the test himself and is quite nice and friendly. I have read somewhere earlier on this forum that the other people are cheaper but we did not check at that time since we live close to bank street and Bin Brek seemed like the most convenient option

If I remember correctly they charge AED 750 per adult and 250 per child and another 2 or 300 for the courier

I would like to add on this reply by giving you some advice on taking it easy on Tea/coffee and getting regular good night sleep between now and your medicals. Sometimes the BP goes high just because you are too anxious about the meds
