Hi I have a question regarding immigration policy in Canada as international student.
So, say the Fall semester in the Canadian school I am enrolled in Starts on September 1, 2019. If I do summer internship on J-1 visa in US from mid-July to October 1, 2019, will there be any problem? My point is when I am full-time enrolled in a Canadian university, can I do full-time internship outside of Canada?
Since I'm a PhD student I don't have class to take and my supervisor is fine with me staying longer in the States. The only concern is the immigration policy.
