Hello! I need your help   Do I need to sign the form 1344 if my husband and me intend to reside in the province of Quebec because de guide says:

" Sponsored persons who intend to reside with their sponsor in Quebec are not required to sign the IMM 1344."

but I am not sure and I don't want my application in return :(

Thanks a lot!

I was asking that although it seems obvious because I have read that people who is waiting their document in return They think it was for that ( for not sign it) and like there are a lot of confusion in the forms and guides with not clear information for that I asked that question :)

If you're afraid they're going to make a mistake, you can write "N/A (Quebec)". That way, hopefully, they'll think twice before sending it back to you.

Yes, you must sign the form, but not your hubby. I also put n/a on the line where his signature was supposed to go, just to be safe. (We have been approved by both CIC - Canada and MICC -Quebec.

If/when you are approved by Canada, then your spouse will have to fill out a form and sign it from Quebec ...

For CIC application, make sure he has done his medical and you include the special IMM for proof, and his police record/file/casier...

If u need any more info., just send me a PM or post it.
Good luck!

My boyfriend is from quebec and is sponsoring me a UK citizen.

He doesn't need to sign IMM1344 but should put n/a
We put n/a on the second line as co-signer stuff doesn't apply
I sign the applicant signature line.

Thank you in advance!!!!

Sorry I assumed you were the one doing the sponsoring.
The person who is doing the sponsoring (your boyfriend) must fill the form, not you (person being sponsored). As for who should sign, I am not entirely sure how it works now. Back in 2013, only the sponsor had to sign. From what I read, it appears now that both of you have to sign. Also, since you are both already living here in Quebec, Canada, I read on the site that you have to contact them - maybe more or less is required of you. I highly recommend that you call both the CIC and Immigration Quebec, with a list of questions on hand. That is what I did. Our application took 5 months (and he was from Algeria)...Keep us posted and feel free to pm me again!

Yep there is an application for outland and inland, so I would ask about that.
