Do I need an address for SIN Card?

In my previous post I asked about PR card address.

Since I do not have friends or relatives in Canada. I am landing next week will come back to USA after 3 days. I want to apply for SIN card so that I can apply for jobs in canada. I read here in forum that SIN card office will give me my SIN number right away but what about SIN Card? I dont have address...

You'll get your SIN number right away, but you need to give them an address so the can send the card. You can probably update the address later though.
