Digital Photo for my 6 months old baby

Today i took passport size photo of my baby for digital photo submission. But in that a small portion of his hand i.e a little of his skin of the arms below the shirt is seen. I checked with the photographer and he told its tough to get the photo of baby without that as per the below photo specification of the immigration

"50 mm wide X 70 mm high (2 inches wide x 2- 3/4 inches long) and sized so the height of the face measures between 31 mm (1- 1/4 inches) and 36 mm (1- 7/16 inches) from chin to crown of head (natural top of head)."

Should i go with that photo or do i need to change? Will it lead to my rejection of application?Its urgent and am running out of time for submission.

you mean post ITA? or for PPR?

i found this but for canadian passports on canada.ca website:

"Child photos must follow the same rules as standard passport photos. They must show your child's head and shoulders only. Parent's or child's hands must not appear in the photo."

Try googling the answer, i'm sure someone has been in the same case

Currently i am in the document submission phase for ITA.
I too had seen this, but i am not able to find a solution to this problem even after googling also.

if it's document submission then you have the wrong size. Click on the question mark next to the digital photo field. It should show you:
• The final frame size of the photo must be at least 35mm x 45mm.
• The photographs must show a full front view of the head and tops of shoulders, with the face in the middle of the photograph.
• The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31mm and 36mm.

I too had seen that 35x45 mm size,but when I click on a link "photo" inside the question mark symbol it says "temporary visa". I am confused now?when do I need to give 50x70 and 35x45?

50x70 are physical ones you submit with your passport when you get PPR. Stick to whatever info is provided

the 50x70 ones will be taken after PPR email and shouldn't be more than 6 months old. you don't even have to think of those. stick to the size mentioned by cic in the question mark help box next to the corresponding upload field

honestly since you have to retake them anyways, might as well make sure they show no hands. if it's just under the shirt sleeve i don't really think they will be an issue as it's not the full hand in front of his face for example. in all cases, not a cause for rejection
