Hi All,

Myself (primary applicant) and my spouse had applied through express entry and received our ITA on 21 July 2021 and got our AOR on 16 Sept 2021.

We both gave medical upfronts, but since i was pregnant then I couldn't complete my medicals (i.e except for x-ray). I had mentioned in LOE regarding my situation as well. Now i gave birth to my son and goin to complete my medicals for myself and also for my son. Our medical test date would be March 2022.

Thus the medical test date for my spouse will remain to be on sept 2021 , but for us (myself and my son) would be march 2022.

I believe COPR validity expires within one year of your medicals, but our medical test date differs. Thus not sure what should we do if we receive PPR before sept 2022, as we wish not to move to Canada before sept 2022.

should my spouse do re-medicals ? or should i wait for IRCC to ask my spouse to do medicals? or Can we ask for medical extension for my spouse alone?

Please help. Thanks in advance.
