Delhi Police PCC

Hi,

I am applying for my wife's PR. The PCC we applied for is from Delhi Police and not from Passport Seva.

Has anyone sent the Delhi Police PCC with the application and had no issues? On the PCC it says it is valid only for Emigration Puposes.

And now we cannot apply for the Passport Seva PCC because India has gone on complete lockdown for 21 days.

Please, can someone advice us.

You can still apply without the requirement and state that the PCC is missing due to the COVID-19 shut down. That is what the website states. It will be held for 90 days. Check the website to see.

Ok thanks but are they still accepting applications or not? And I heard the post is not going through as Canada is closing down all non-essential workplaces.

As of today They are still accepting applications. There is no movement since all of the announcements. You may not get confirmation right away but you it will be a long wait. I was supposed to get SA last week but I'm stuck now lol. So until they start working again.

Are you continuing to process and accept applications?
As announced, there are travel restrictions in place. We are continuing to accept and process applications at this time, although foreign nationals, unless exempt, will have their travel restricted until these measures have been lifted.

I did not take a chance. I waited for the Passport PCC and submitted that.
