We submitted our tourist applications to visit my son and family in Canada last nov 29, 2012 thru drop box. Our scheduled trip proposal is on dec 23 up to January 3,2013. This is our third week of waiting for our visas if approved or denied. I checked today , Dec. 17,2012 , with the bank where I purchased the manager checks for payment of our application
If it were already withdrawn by the Canadian embassy in makati to check if our applications are processed but found out that checks still remain outstanding or still floating in the bank. This signifies that our visas are not yet processed and so definitely our desired schedule date to travel is impossible to meet already. I thought that the applications processing will only take 10 working days and so we are expecting our passports and their reply to our application this week but it is already impossible to happen. Are we still be permitted to travel even thou target date is nearly approaching. I said in my application that we have scheduled construction of our New house outside Manila by third week. Is it still possible for them to entertain our application or are they going to deny it already . Are we going to wait for months or better for us to withdraw?
Please advise....thank you
