Hopefully you will get the passport with visa soon. If not received your PP within two weeks, you should send a Case Specific Enquiry requesting for the status of your case. Wish you good luck and good news very soon.

If you check Trackitt http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/5609E.PDF Return of passport can take 5 weeks to 3 months at Manila.
The processing time for 80% of spousal applicants is 5-9 months at Manila, you are still well within their processing time frame.

kind of strange here is that you got "in process" march 25 but they only got your passport on the 16th of august? usually when you get the in process they ask for your passport and sometimes some additional documents. at least you have a decision already and hopefully its a good one.

Yap, the vo forget to send me a PPR like the usual time for manila applicants.

Manila applicants received their visa package in just 3 days, maybe delayed up to 20 working days if the applicants address is way too far south of the philippines.

My wife is a PR living in canada. I'm being sponsored here in the philippines.


My e-cas dm statement includes 'medicals have been received' so I'm sure there's a visa
For me.

I went to CEM to inquire yesterday sept 14. I was given a form to fill in and dropd at b4 .hope cem reply within 10
Days as stated.

yea my wife's passport has been with them for a month and a week now. hoping i get a DM soon and the visa back.. all we can do now is wait and pray. best of luck to all

Owws this is terrible, its exactly one month now since e-cas decision made. still, there's no word or anything from CEM. They don't reply e-maila, specific inquiry, and formfilled inquiry dropped at B4. What else would I do?

Probably the DM you have seen in the ecas is DM that ur sponsor is been approve and not u. but anyway congrats if u get DM
