December Application OINP

I dropped my Package in person on 30th December 2015, Last week when I called the office, the person verified the system and told they received the application only on 7th March.(As per the system).I am not sure how this happened. I yet to get AOR, my DD also didn't got en-cashed.

Is this the date when they opened my package? If that is the case, I should have got the AOR, but not.

How about other December applicants? did any one checked the application received date? Did anyone received nomination without AOR and verification call..fingres crossed..

If they received your package March 7th it makes sense why you have not received your AOR, that actually means you may have to wait longer than that. I would recommend calling them back again to verify , did you explain you dropped it off in person on December 30th? If you think about it that means they received your application outside of the 45 days window you have to submit your application. something doesn't make sense.

Yes I checked with my bank that draft was en-cashed on 9th May....

So it means that I should visit my branch more often to check if they en-cashed the draft!

Here, the FAQ regarding the OINP payment, question 13:

What happens if my payment expires before it is cashed due to the extended application processing times?
The OINP will ask that a new payment be submitted within 30 days of notifying you. Your application will maintain its place in the queue. Processing will resume once the OINP receives your new payment.

My application was delivered in person by my representing immigration consultant on 16th Nov. And I too was told that the NEW date of application received was 7th March.

I received AOR on 4th May. You should be getting yours anytime soon.

Does the money order or bank draft from BMO expires? I am in Canada and personally requested the money order or bank draft (I don't remember which one I ordered) in Canadian funds.

Don't worry, it doesn't expire. You can call BMO to double check if you want to, people from telephone banking know more than branch tellers.

Yes, you can resubmit if OINP has asked you to do so.
