Many people got ghost update. I saw more than 100 people got ghost update. So it is glitch 100%

I don’t think this is a solid argument. There are around 30K applicants per month. I am a Dec applicant and I didn’t get the ghost and many people that I know.

Amidst the excitement, it is instructive to remind folks that unlike with temporary residents/PR applications, a ghost update on citizenship applications (going by reading this subforum) doesn't always - in fact almost never - indicate impending status update in processing items.

This subforum is littered with posts of people seeing genuine ghost update who did not see any actual update in their applications in the weeks or months following. We should be excited but also cautious about expecting any updates 'next week', maybe even next month.

This post is for me as it is for the rest of youse. Have a lovely long weekend everyone.

No need to be reminded. No excitement about any news, but a select group of applicants from December received the update and while it could mean absolutely nothing, it also could mean something significant.

PS ghost updates for any category could mean anything to nothing. I will be interested to see what happens in the upcoming weeks.

I am Nov. applicant, and also got the ghost update. I guess it does mean something.

Hi all.. i need help with something.. i have applied to renew my passport.. do i need to inform ircc cause i am still stuck at background and lpp.. when i applied my passport was expired but due to some emergency i had to renew it.. i don't want them to delay the process
