Am curious about the operational aspects of fingerprint report tracking. I sent my FP on 7 or 8 Feb, RCMP mailed those out on Feb 20. Someone else on the forum also got confirmation that their report was mailed out to IRCC on Feb 20. They got the FP received update in tracker on Mar 03 or something and there's nothing for me. I would assume that IRCC would manage the mail and log what reports have been received together!
Just Frustrated with them as have heard of few horror stories of IRCC losing docs and then I might need to start again

I have the same timeline interms of FP. Submitted them on Feb 7th and the RCMP mailed it out on Feb 20. The submission period ends March 8 so i called ircc to check and was told they haven’t received it yet. They said if they send out another request to submit the receipt from the RCMP when i did the FP. We just gotta wait and see, hopefully they’ll receive it this or next week!

I submitted my fingerprints around the same time and no update on the tracker for me either.

Congratulations!!

A few data points recently seem to show that for most people, there's a 10 days to 1 month difference between BG and LPP completion dates. Unfortunately, as November and December applicants, our Background checks aren't being completed as the first step in the process, hence why some later December and January applicants will get completed before us.

And no, it doesn't mean we should panic. But a pattern is showing.

I did notice that whoever had 'citizenship' test prior to BC complete will likely have some delay. Again, there is no specific pattern since every application is different and every processing office have different approach to handle. We all need to wait for our turns to show up..
