Anyone still waiting? It's discouraging to receive only the "covid delays" excuse from IRCC when a Dec 2020 applicant just got DM... :(

Checking in again if anyone from December 2019 is waiting. Feeling hopeless about this situation, almost a year without any update :(

What stage are you at? Background check?

Just got CoPR on August 26th, finally. The delay was because of the police certificate. Waiting for PR card in the mail.

Congrats! I'm on background check, yes. Eligibility not started, my medical will expire in October...

Thank you. We got medical and biometrics done November/December, sent all required documents for police certificate in December and then nothing for 8 months. I checked PR application status on ECAS in mid-August and it said "decision made." Two weeks later we got an invite to set up an account on the PR portal, which was easy. Two days later we got CoPR. That's incredibly frustrating that your medical will expire in October.

Jan 2020 applicant here. I am still waiting for the final decision. I ordered GCMS notes in May and got it in July, everything looks normal on the notes, the eligibility was not started, but I got AIP 2 days after got the notes. On ECAS, the latest update is medical passed in Nov. 2020, but my GCkey has the AIP letter. I just called IRCC this morning, the agent said everything has been completed, but no final decision yet. My medical will expire in 6 days, but the agent said I don't need to do anything. I ordered GCMS notes again in August, hopefully will get it by the end of this month to see all the new updates on it. I really hope will get the final decision soon. It's been a long wait and it's frustrated to see people applied after us already got their PR. I would recommend you to order GCMS notes or to have GCkey account to see the most recent updates on your application.

How is it possible that applicants from March 2021 are receiving COPR while they keeping telling us (the ones from 2019 and early 2020) that covid is delaying everything? This is ridiculous!!
