After you get to 12 months with still nothing, then you'd stop asking .... that’s what I did

I've got no clue how they process these documents when received. My wife's were sent on December 7th and are still in process since March 20th, my little brother sent his in mid Jan 2018 and he already passed the test and is waiting for oath invitation! I guess it depends on who's working on your file, if it's an officer whose productivity is low and is over meticulous then it'll take longer. I don't even check the timeline anymore, I just tell myself they'll contact my wife whenever they feel like it. I'm simply tired of being anxious for the inevitable fact that she will eventually get it!

Ours is IP since Mar 2, 2018. Whenever I call IRCC or contact them through web form, I get the reply that everything about the file seems to be good. I should wait for the next steps. I am in the same situation as yours.. really frustrated.
