skyzee: how long it take to get the email after you see the DM status on ECAS ? I saw mine has DM, but no email yet. I also noticed the PR Application is "Application Received" . Did it change to "In Process" for you?

In our case, it was within the same day when dear hubby got the email. PA side still showing "Application Received" to date. MyCIC's Eligibility changed to In Progress even before Sponsor's ECAS changed to DM.

I got DM status in the morning yesterday in ECAS, and the letter from CIC for SA was received in the afternoon in my email box (I'm the sponsor).

I've checked ECAS again this morning, and it looks like our PA side has changed to "In Process" Likely, we're quicker in getting that status since they probably just pass the application next door to Ottawa visa office

I did on MyCIC. You tried the steps I shared on here? Are you the PA? You tried not entering any details about the passport?

I used my old UCI number, last name, DOB and country of birth

Do you receive an email of confirmation from CÍC ? They send you an email and let you know they receive your application, they inform you your REF number and your UCI number

No email at all from CIC. Just ecas saying my application was received and then my medical results are being reviewed as per MyCIC account. Was seeing if anyone was in the same boat.
I guess I will anxiously continue waiting!

I keep checking mycic but the application status says not started. I hope I haven't been put on the back burner because of the missing document. They haven't even started to look at mine yet. Also haven't been able to link to ECAS.

Anyone else dealing with the same?

You should be able to access ECAS using either a UCI or the App Number. For App Number, use the PA's info.

We just got notified by our lawyer that we got SA approval yesterday )) We are very excited!
It took us 35 days to get the approval. They have now sent our application to Bucharest but on cic it still only shows our application as received only. It hasn't changed to the in process status.

So, the time frame varys with applications?

I just checked ECAS and PA side now shows "In Process". On MyCIC, my Eligibility has been "In Progress" since 13 January.

Yes it does look that way.. I was already getting worried because so many people had already gotten theirs, even the applications after ours but I think everyone gets approved as a sponsor since there is no income requirement at all.
