DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Hello All,

My application for FSW was received at Sydney, Nova Scotia on December 15th 2014, delivered by DHL. My NOC is 2241.
I sent a DD for 550 CAD with the application. The DD has not yet been charged (the bank told me this) as of date and there is no communication of any sort from CIC. My application was not signed by anybody as seen from the Proof Of Delivery copy. Could it have been lost in the Nova Scotia office? Is there anybody with the same NOC facing a similar situation? :-[

I have also applied under EE with 427 points, no invite yet. Seems only 820+ points holders are getting invites! :-[

You could try calling up CIC on +1 613 944 4000
Be prepared for a long IVR and then another long wait to get to the agent.
In my experience, if you ask nicely and are a little persistent, they do give you the information.

As per the 16 Dec update from CIC 822 app were confirmed for NOC 1123.

Dear Fellows

I submitted application for two NOC codes 2133 and 2241. My application received at CIC on 31st December 2014. I have not received any update so far but heard from one of my friends that NOC 2133 application cap has reached and CIC is returning applications received after 16th November 2014. Also there is no update regarding NOC 2241. Can anybody provide updates on these two NOC codes especially NOC 2241 also if any one can suggest group for NOC 2241 Applicants.

While i do appreciate your optimism, there is no good in being naive. I shared the same statement last week that files post 29 dec have been returned citing 25k app reached. Start focussing on Express Entry and face reality. I know it is hard, but living in denial won't help.

Sharing experiences with others sailing in the boat, that's what the objective of this forum is. Appreciate and acknowledge other people sharing their experiences with everyone here, there's a thin line between condescending and being optimistic.

You mean to say 29-12-2014 applicants are in FSW race (maybe 50/50) but 30th and 31st are out. This I also read somewhere that applicants for 30 and 31 are receiving back their application due to CAP issue.

talk for yourself, I am not you and you can't be me. Your failure may be my success, I believe and hope for a positive news and nothing can change that. Take for yourself alone that which you believe and leave me for my believe. I still have hope that 30th and 31st apps will all be processed as long as they qualified. I am using a Canadian based immigration agent, David Cohen and he has not told me my app is returned or will be returned. I therefore will not take it from you because my favour is stronger than your luck. Thanks, but no thanks.

When I called the CIC call centre they have told me that "my file is under review".

What does it mean ?.

Have you confirmed from your bank about you dd encashment or not

I check up with Bank couple of days back.. it is not encashed....
