My friend has just found his CC charged right now. His app received on 29 dec and charging date is march 8th.
Yes 8 of march!!!! So how could they return apps on 6th?!!!
Reaching overall cap is not correct

Hi Friends,

I called up the CIC to enquire about my application which was received by them on the 23rd of December 2014. They informed me that an email acknowledge has been sent to me today which is 09 March 2015. When I asked him what does the email confirm, he said 1. Receipt of application, 2. Some reference number and 3. If they need any further documentation. I informed him that I have not received any email and he said it will take 2-3 days for me to get the email, 2-3 days for an email, really?? Is this the PER email? My payment is by DD hence unable to check if I have been charged. Please can the expertise on this group give me some information if the agent was talking about the PER email?

Are they joking? their answers have no consistency. Asking Canadian police clearance for a person who has never been to Canada, sounds outageous.

This is indeed really strange because PCCs are allowed to be sent in a later stage so even if it were true that you didnt send it this couldnt be a reason for rejection. CIC is driving us crazy!!

Currently, I am not sure about anything which CIC is saying. Sorry
However, I think there is a good chance for you to get PER, although I do not understand why it will take 2-3 days for an email either.
