Decision made for me! I took Test this week. Not too bad. Now waiting for Oath Letter...

Here is my timeline..

- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 8, 2014.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 9, 2015.
- We started processing your application on June 9, 2015.
- Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 24, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

And i've been waiting since June,, I was expecting an update like 3-4 months from June.. haven't heard anything, do you guys recommend contacting them or thats normal timeline, i'm approaching one year and no test nothing.. started to get worried! :-X

Here is my timeline:

- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 30, 2014.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 26, 2015.
- We started processing your application on March 25, 2015.
- We sent you correspondence on July 9, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I have been waiting since I submitted my fingerprints. Though, I called CIC call centre and got confirmation that my fingerprints have been received and updated on my file. But rep was not sure about next step in process.

finally Oath invite for December 8th at 10:30 am. Waiting for the actual letter. Has been posted on November 13th. Should get it today or tomorrow.

Yeah finally some movement for those who are waiting for longer than the new applicants. :-X

Well my wife's status is now changed to "complete", and in a day or two she will be applying for her passport ;D

I had my ceremony on Friday and I am now a Citizen of Canada.

I would like to say THANKS to all who have helped me with comments or just by charing the timelines.
