I have one question before I send my new application.

I had 3 different jobs in the last 3 years in Canada, with different NOC codes. I am however re-applying under my 3rd and current job, NOC 1113. The checklist mentions that we only have to provide a reference letter for the qualifying job that we want to have considered under the application.

Do I still have to provide a reference letter for the other jobs even if they will not be considered toward my CEC application?

Hi guys,

I am sorry to let you know that I received a refusal email yesterday. The officer's reasons were as follow:

Your Bachelor of Business Administration degree was issued by XXX on April 30, 2012 and your application was received on December 24, 2012. The maximum number of available months during which you could acquire Canadian work experience is less than eight, not twelve as required by the regulations. I was unable to assess your application based on your Business Administration Diploma. You did not complete a full time study program of at least two years duration to obtain this diploma, as required by the regulations. I am unable to consider the semester during which you took ESL courses, as the regulations exclude any period when the study of French or English as a second language amounted to most of the full time study.

In other words, they only considered my work experience after my degree was issued, which is a little less than 8 months, not since my work permit was issued in March 2011. I will be sending a new application in the next few days.

I guess I will have to share my info with the November 2013 folks now.

Good luck to everyone!

You must mention all the NOCs which are eligible. Your reference letter must also tell the same.

All my jobs qualify under CEC, but I have a full 12 months full time experience under the 3rd NOC code only (NOC 1113).
So my question again: do I still have to submit reference letters for the other 2 jobs?

Landed at rainbow bridge on Saturday :).

It was fairly easy. Around 1 hour. Prepared work permit and bank statement but not request. The officer just took my driver's licence for address.

Both USA and Canadian officer are nice, though the officer didn't congratulate us for becoming PR.

Got answer for this question: if the Confirmation of PR could be used to re-entry Canada. YES.

Never feel very exited in the process. Stange :)

Good luck, guys.

Landed at Peace Bridge on Saturday 16/Nov/2013, we made a U turn at peace bridge [ didn't enter US ] .

Immigration officer said to us that we are not supposed to take U turn at peace bridge , it was your lucky day I'm here otherwise you might have been refused for this landing procedure ...

Other than these, the total Process only took 30 minutes ...

Thanks to all in this forum who helped all the way through .....

All the best for all those who are waiting ...

Who ever landing in future, please make sure you enter US before landing in Canada ..

once again thanks a lot guys ...

I can't seem to find anything asking for a reference letter for the jobs that are not qualifying for an application under CEC.

Do you think it will influence my application at all if I don't include a reference letter for the other 2 jobs since I worked at my current job with NOC 1113 for more than 12 months?

Landed last night at Lewiston bridge. Took no time at all, it was just me there and the staff chatting amongst themselves, waiting to get off shift.

Hi.

I have done my medicals and doctors said it will take 2 weeks for reports.

I have doubt about biodata and RPRF fee. I have sent my biodata and RPRF fees receipt to Ottawa email address and received a auto reply back from them but not a proper confirmation and no update in application status tool.

Can anyone please tell if Ottawa office team sends a proper confirmation or not. I still have few more days to share same information with them again.

I actually have not got any confirmation either. I guess we just need to assume that visa officers do their job!

Order gcms or email for confirmation.

Cic call centre won't be able to check this. Only way you can check is by email to ottpilot-immigration.
