FSW2 is completely a different ballgame. I know folks who applied in 2011, still waiting for their PPR.

2013 CEC target is 10,000 - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/notice-levels2013.asp. CIC has always over delivered every year - my guess is that CIC would easily meet the target for 2013, even with current pace.

I'm hoping that the only reason we have not seen many MR, RPRF etc since last couple of weeks is because folks getting MR, RPRF are not in the forum As per news release http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2013/2013-10-28.asp?utm_source=rss-media&utm_medium=rss-eng&utm_campaign=generic, CIC will process backlogs on priority! Hope they keep their word.

My Friends lawyer said they pulled VO's from all departments to get the August FSW2's through. This was a real problem! so it is all linked together!

That sucks! That explains sudden drop in MRs and rprf during last couple of weeks. I hope they would get back to cec backlog soon

Im only guessing here but from what the lawyer was saying their near the end of it, we could be those August applicants, imagine how they feel?

I think things will start moving quicker soon!

My passport received at their office by 11 oct but did not receive it back....

I sent my passport on 22/Oct, I didn't get any response yet ... Normally, it would take 3-4 weeks to get back the passport ...

What's really unfortunate is that you can get gcms once a month. If you are lucky enough, you can get gcms just in time to see a negative remark in gcms and be able to send updated reference letter etc. I really hope that we hear good news in the coming weeks.

Some folks from oct, nov got MR last couple of days. They are clearing backlogs.
