But I've heard from another guy that the money won't be given back for the withdrawn application :

For my Reference Letters, one did not write the salary but I have A4 and all the sub payrolls for that position. they show how much money I earned and how much I paid for tax. Is this fine? or I have to write a new reference letter which add the salary in after I got my AOR?

I have applied under CEC and my application recahed to Sydney on Dec 24th 2012.
My credit card is charged today. But the transaction on my credit card displays -
IMMIGRATION CANADA FSW SYDNEY.
I am wondering if they are filing this under incorrect category as it shows "FSW".
Does anyone else have similar expereince? Is this matter of concern?

Please advise.

Yes Canada_2011.
I have come across a couple of instances where the AOR has been received from CIC FSW Sydney eventhough the application was filed under CEC. Don't worry about the wording on your credit card transaction. It is charged by CIC and that will suffice

How are processing times calculated?

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

When estimating how long you will wait to receive a temporary visa, you must also take into account up to 10 days of transit or delivery time on top of CIC's processing time. The time your application will spend travelling to and from CIC will vary depending on where you live.

Guys,

My lawyer sent the application on 12 Dec but it was return on Jan 10 asking about clarificaiton on Birth Ceritifcate of my Son. My lawyer had to re-submit the application again ....

I guess I will be noe treated as January applicants... or am I still be an December applicants.

Please clarify..

If CIC owned the docs and requested for an additional doc, it is still a Dec submission.
If the entire package was returned and resubmitted, welcome to Jan 2013 club.
