Leaving Friday to go to Thailand and meet her, help with moving and all.

Crazy to think I didn't see her in person for 7 months and a half. I'm so excited. ;D

We are to be landing back in Canada on April 4th.

I spent the whole day with Air Canada and Asiana Airline (including the last two hours with one phone in each hand talking to a rep of both companies), trying to make sure they could confirm we can bring our cat back on the codeshare flight........and this made me realize....all this adventure of preparing, sending, waiting and hoping definitely made me a much stronger and patient person!!

You guys are all next really soon, always keep positive!!

How to I call CIC from Thailand? Do I call Canada, or Singapore? They never reply to emails and am finding it very frustrating that not even my notes show up on time. I need somebody, anybody to talk too that knows what the heck is going on. This is so frustrating - The wait for the visa is one thing, and is something we can handle, however the complete lack of feedback from CIC, eCas, and now ATIP is starting to piss me off.

I called the 1-888-242-2100 number and they said there isn't a phone number to call from outside Canada as they only do the processing part for people in Canada... BS in my opinion

I think you should send an email to your MP's office and have them look into it

However I have seen somewhere on this forum how people were calling from outside of Canada

Thanks. I tried calling that number earlier today as well, and it just comes up with a cannot complete call crap (via Skype and direct). They really do not like having to deal with people. I also have no idea who my MP is. (any way to find that out?)

Use either your last postal code from when you were in Canada or if you aren't returning to the same location use one where you are going to be moving to

Our MPs office has been very helpful... and will be contacting again Monday as our PP is showing on hold at the postal facility since March 10th via the Canada Post tracking system... Canada Post is investigating as well

I contacted my MP and they got back to me within a few hours. They were very kind and eager to help. I hope they will be able to find out something.

Oh.. Still no notes.. What ever happen to the 30 calendar day timeframe? Like we don't exist or something... weird.
