Are there any December 2010 Applicants or Jan 2011 who are still waiting for their Passport Request. I checked the Trackiit website but I don't think they are upto date.

In my case, it's been 13.5 months. I am not sure what is taking so long. If the application was to be rejected they usually send the rejection sooner? I was thinking whether I should send the RPRF fee? What do you guys suggest ...

If anyone has similar experience and wants to share it please email me at glitter.gurl at usask dot ca

Thanks.

my wife applied in dec 2010 to the visa office in Manila,Philippines. She have been there for her interview on january 11,2012. on january 18(one week after), me(the husband and the sponsor)i had a call from the visa office and they asked me few questions. They said to both of us,we will make a decision in few days. But now we are at the middle of march and no decision made. I sent a message to the visa office in feb 14,asked why we don't have any decision yet, and on feb 16,they answered to my message and say: your files is queued for review by the officer. But no answer since this time. good luck, thanks.

We were told that our file was in the queue via email from Buffalo as I sent them an email enquiring it it and we got our PPR five days later so it shouldn't be long for you hopefully ;D

I sent my package in 2010 December and ecas showed file received may 2011. Just a few days back ecas shows "in process" dated march 7,2012. No medical was requested. Don't know where this is going but I'm happy that ecas updated! What do you think?

Are you a CEC applicant??...

I suppose that's good considering you've been waiting a long time... You just have to wait and see how it goes :)

My lawyer just mailed me saying mine has been approved and he will send me my medical. He also asked fot landing fee

Can someone tell me please how that works? Isn't medical a must before a file can be "approved?" I've mailed him and will share the response.

So I guess cec early 2011 applicants are making progress.

Yes your medicals need to be done before you get PR...Your lawyer maybe letting you know that you've passed all the other requirements such as Language, Work experience, Police check. So with your medicals completed and approved then everything else should go through and hopefully get your PPR soon...Anyway good luck :D

Given my timeline, application received in may 2011, what's the average wait if I send my medicals in now? So after medicals, the last step is they will request my passport, correct? How long is that ?
