Daughter in Grade 12

Hello,

I and my family, wife son and a daughter fot PR in 2016 and did a short landing in 2016. Everyone came back after 2 months except me. I stayed on and looked for a job to settle. I am finally settled and in Government Job in Canada. My daughter is in Grade 12 in India now and I was thinking to move all of them here in Canada. My question is if it is ok for my daughter to move now in Grade 12 or she should complete it in India and then come here for University. She is Nov 2001 born and currently studying in India.

I was worried that if I move here now, I might be disturbing her Grade 12 ?

Ask universities across Canada or go to their websites. In any case, she might need to pass IELTS before admission.

Putting directly in college might be better option as she need not go through the school system of a different country just for one year. You will also have options in India if she finishes her 12th grade there. But make sure that your family do meet residency obligation if they have happen to be out for one more year.

If you live in Quebec she would have to attend French school.
