All,

when you calculate dates outside Canada, do you use the date of entry stamp to the other country as date you left Canada? or will this be objected by CIC assuming that you must have left earlier? has anyone have a case like this? What do you always state as exit date from Canada? I used the entry date stamp in other countries as date to leave Canada. Please share experience if any -

Also, does anyone have experience where CIC asked explicitly for tickets details? Can we recover tickets details which are older than one year from internet? thanks for sharing your experience and perspective

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
1. Why would you use the date of arrival in country A as the date of departure from Canada when this may not be factually correct especially if travelling across time zones. A date is a time statement of fact covering a 24 hour period so you should put the actual date you departed as to do otherwise is misrepresentation. If you applied for PR Card renewal with exactly 730 days with the incorrect departure days adding to this count then your true day count is one or multiple days short of the RO.

2. Add in the lost passport covering part of the 5 year RO review period and it seems you may be destined for a full blown PRC renewal RQ. Expect 2 sets of forms if this happens including one requesting a travel history. You may also get interviewed. Your application is not in the urgent stream anymore nor in the regular stream. Last FC case law on this seemed to give CIC latitude to deal with in 12-15 months from date of application. You may want to get records of movements from the countries you traveled to with the lost passport.
