welcome to the forum. yes, I am sponsoring my husband from Quebec, and this was my question, too. but when I looked over the chart which is done by our friends in this forum, I saw that the federal and quebec are the same, no difference in processing times, but this is just my perception. but generally, the speed of ankara vo is amazing, i hope a fast process for u, too.

wawwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, finally after 17 months from waiting, today amman embasy called me and told me that they need my passport for me and for my son, and also they sent email (REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF PASSPORTS ), el7mdelah for every thing, enshala they will give me the visa, and they didn`t sk for new thing because in email they wrote
Please note, this does not guarantee that a visa will be issued.

Hi everyone!! Hope everyone is great!! So i went to the Canadian embassy last week in Lebanon, after 20 min of saying I wanted to speak to someone so they can actually tell me what is going on, they brought the head of secuirty a canadian gentleman. He was very respectful (my husband and I were very pleased). Even though he didnt allow us to go in and specifically ask about our papers, he gave us hope that they are working very hard, and that they are now taking care of three countries with only 15 workers, and the person who takes care of emails is now taking care of cases. He said no ones immgiration papers are priority, everyones papers are in a pile, he says maybe mine is the first one, the last one or the one in the middle..but he reassured me they are working and issuing visas. I told him my ecase says medical results received and he says that means that now it is just the case of waiting for an immigration officer to get my papers, look at them and issue the visa!!

Really, good luck everyone!! Now i'm back in Toronto, I miss my husband terribly, but theres no point of crying or anything like that, thank God for whatsapp, viber, skype..oh technology!!!!! Keep smiling everyone

Hi Lele, oh i miss lebanon but i left at a good time, hear you guys have zero electricty God be with u guys!! And yes, he said the third country was Iran, due to the closure of the embassy there, I know its not actually useful info that i'm sharing, but i felt like i needed to share it! I hope this will soon end for us!!
