ahhhh, so there is more of us that have been waiting for 16 month i thought i was the only one i no longer feel alone

I have done my second medical 2 weeks ago and it has been recieved in Paris today. Do i have to send an email or fax to let them know?
If so after how many days they may update my profile to medical recieved ?

2- for whom that status applications has been change to medical received : how long did it take to see that note ?
3- I just noticed that , my address pops up again in cic web site. , it disappeared 6 months ago and now it is back . what does it mean ?

Damascus acknowledged the receipt of my file on Feb 07, 2011 .

Since then no news just a request to redo medical due to not cleared chest X-ray in summer 2011.

I can't beleive One day comes and I get to be the one to type this message. Always dreamed of this moment, that I come here and say guys we got PPR.
Wow. I did it. Guys we got ppr yesterday. A lady from ankara called and told my husband everything is done and he can come to ankara and get his passport stamped.
I still can't beleive and i think I am dreaming. First time I see ankara is calling , i was expecting an email.
She told my husband only on one condition they will issue the visa, if he lands beforE his medical expires , but if he can't have to do the medical and then she does not know how long it will take

My case is very normal and nothing special about us. I am 25 and he is 30. Both famileis knew each other for decades throgh another marriage. We told them that. I met him 3 years ago when i went to iran and dated for a while got engaged. The after 2 years got married. We had a huge wedding and my whole family from canada went there. We sent 120 pictures of wedding, honeymoon,and everywhere we went with frinds and family. Before marriage we talked on phone 2 or 3 times a day, sent emails 6 or 7 times a day, and talked on skype for hours. I printed all. Even i printed the record of us talking on skype , oovoo, and all the messengers. I had record of talking to him up to 8 or 9 hours a day. When I was in Iran lots of people sent me emails to congratulate me( classmates, coworkers, supervisor at school,..) I printed all of them. I sent them the boarding cards and airline tickets all of my family memebers.
I am in BC. And I never contacted to follow up. Only when my file was kept in canada I called to ask if it has been transfered. Everytime they said no. Until last time in march, they said yes and then I did not call anymore.My husband wanted to change his email address, i sent one letter in the mail while my file was in mississaga, i was worried that the did not get so I sent an email a month ago again. But when the lady called the other day to ask my husband if he is able to leave before first medical expires or wants to do the medical again and wait . My husband said yes and she said ok I will send the passport request. Then she sent it today.

Mine is the same way.My address use to be there but it disappeared.
Yesterday it reappeared again.It probably had something to do with their website.

Well, Parham my own medical s not expired yet but as i know our friends in this forum send the scan of the "green sheet" by email to Visa Office,
Some recieved confirmation after a while which varied from 2 weeks to more than months. Others did not recieve confirmation till PPR, or till the time their ECAS updated eventually.
Other friends with more experience can answer Q.2 precisely.
About this address change, it happened for many , but it didnt mean anything particular.

Your case s the same as others , so there s nothing to worry about. But email the scan of medical and it speeds the process.

We did not have wedding party either but had a good engagement party

AND I have another good NEWS

Our online status updated and the acknowledged the second medical test.

My wife did it on May 14, 2014 and they updated a few hours ago!!!


I am sure by next week this time, we are going to have at least 5 PPRs!!!

There is not such a rule Samiraye Gol, it is just a matter of officer's personal judgment according to provided documents. As far as all our marriages are genuine there wont be any problem.
Yours is really in a good situation: Having "In process" in your ecas and then "Medicals Received" added means some one is considering your file thus it wont take long!!!
