Common law partner moved to Canada aug 2016 from US. Applied for PR Aug 2016. Was granted PR & landed Feb 2017.
Am I able to claim him on my 2016 income tax? He was not an official PR, did not work, nor did he have income. Is he able to be claimed as a dependant?
