Credit history after SIN change

Lived and worked in Canada as non-resident before. SIN started with 9.
What happens to credit history after receiving PR? Does it being transferred to a new SIN or have to start building credit history from the scratch?

What happens to credit history after receiving PR? Does it being transferred to a new SIN or have to start building credit history from the scratch?

No it goes in your file with the new SIN number. CRA would ask you to create new account online (if you had one previously), you would get password via mail. Once you sign in, it would contain your entire history such as past tax returns etc.

Same applies to credit history.
