Dear Guru's ,

I sent my initial application on 22 April 2010, as per DHL my application was recieved on 28 April. I have not recieved any update on my application as yet. Now with the change in Skilled Immigration NOC categories, my prefered category is no more in the list. With this background i have following concerns and need your feedback.

1 - I have opted to pay via Credit Card, Till now my card has not been charged. What if my transcation is declined due to some technical error, will my application be rejected. ( Though i have INSTRUCTED my bank to approve any attempt by CIC ).

2- If (God Forbid) my application is reverted, will i be able to apply again as my NOC category has changed.

3- I have not heard anything from CIC , how can i be sure that my application has reached there but is in a queue to get opened.

Please do comment, i am really worried :(

Keep your credit card safe and have enough credit balance in it so that it doesn't fail.

In General I suggest everyone not to use CC payment as I have seen many ppl getting application back becuase CC failure.

Send Certified cheque or Demand Drafts.

As long as your application package got Sydney, NS before June 24, they will treat your application under the old rule. It may take longer for Sydney to give you AOR due to the summer, a hot season for people's vacation. CIC's processing speed may slow down during July and August. Be more positive and patient. God bless you!
