Hi SoftwareEngg,

Thank you for your reply. I got an email from POS today and I was told that "We are ready to finalize your application and will dispatch your passports by courier in the next week. " They didn't tell me what is their decision. But my online status is still RBVO. I checked with my bank and found out that the bank draft has been cashed on Nov. 5. Hopefully, it is a good sign. I will post here once I receive my passport.

The bank draft is cashed only when the decision made status is updated.

I got another mail from them that they will courier our passports this week. So, I think
after making decision they sent the passports for stamping visa stickers and thats y it takes 1 week more after decision made.

Port of Spain is taking to long to process our FSW. I submitted updated docs & RPRF fees almost 1 1/2 mos already and no reply from them . I also have a CEC application last year and I received a RPRF & Bio data requests this week. I sent them right away and my status was changed to in process on Nov 4. I did upfront medical in June 2013. I think im withdrawing my FSW application and so I can get my RPRF fee refund .

Hello all,

Could you tell me how long it will take to get back my visa after the visa office receive my passports. I submitted my application 04/28/2011 (FSW no work offer). I got passport and ME request on 09/27/2013. Since the US government shutdown, my FBI criminal background check took 8 weeks. I mailed my passports and all required document last Friday and they got my package today. BTW, I am studying in the US.
"It generally takes from two to four weeks to make a final decision on your application once ALL the documents have been submitted, excluding mail or courier handling." Right?

Hi John,

I mailed all the required documents and my passport on Sept. 30 and it took about 1 month for them to finish the final review. My bank draft of landing fee was cashed on Nov. 1. After that, it took one week for them to stamp the visa and another week to deliver the passport. Hope this helps.

Which address did you send them? I mailed my documents on the PO Box address and the package is still waiting to be picked up. It has been at the postal facility since Oct 29th, 26 days so far. I am not sure what should I do. I called CIC and they said they cant do anything as it is in POS. I sent 2 emails to POS and I got automated replies so far. No change on ECAS so far.

Letter for updated forms and Fingerprints dated - Aug 19th
Letter received - Sept 19th
Documents mailed to POS from Canada - Oct 16th
Documents reached postal facility in TnT - Oct 29th

Hi Shiv,

In my case, I mailed all the required documents to the address on the notice I received from POS. I believe you should use that address in POS. If you still have problem, you may want to contact with your courier for more details. From what I understand, your courier should have delivered your package to the address you wrote down. In my case, I can checked the status of my package on my courier's website. I used FedEx. So I don't understand why it is still in the postal facility for pickup. Sorry to hear about that.

I used FedEx to mail my documents to POS and have them mailed my passport back. In my case, I provided a FedEx account number so that they will just put that number on the packing slip and I was charged by FedEx once my passport was delivered.

I sent the documents through International Parcel service through Canada Post as the address that was provided in the letter was a PO Box address and courier companies do not deliver to PO Box address.

Hi There,

I think I am the only one left from the batch which was transferred to POS VO. I was asked for Medicals in August 2013 and updated forms in October 2013. I and my family completed the medicals in August 2013 and Medicals Has been Received line on ECAS was updated in Nov 2013. I had sent the updated forms and documents which were requested including my fingerprints in Nov 2013. In Feb 1st week I received an email again from the POS VO for FINAL REMINDER for sending the forms and documents. When I contacted them and the Trinidad and Tobago Postal Service, in 2 days, they confirmed that they have received the forms and documents. Since then, I have got nothing from them. It has been more than 3 years now that I applied, I am not sure what is holding them back to move on to the next step. I had sent them an email in Jan 2014 asking for an update on my application, same reply after 6 weeks, if we need any more information, we will get in touch and your file is in process.

As the days are passing, I am loosing hope of seeing this through. I am not sure what else I can do so that they can send the passport request and RPRF request. By the way, I only received MR last year and not RPRF and passport request with it, like many of the forum members did.

If anyone has any idea on how to go about this now, please, I will appreciate your help.
