Just got a call from MVO and we got COPR!!!

Anyone with experience ... there are steps that we have to follow within 5 days and my partner has to cross a canadian border before december 15th.

So do we send the Annex + 2 photos + photocopy of passport + return xpresspost envelope

THEN

we receive a letter back from CIC

THEN we cross the border

... or can we cross the border before sending in this stuff?

Also, it says to include a photocopy of the passport, plus any pages with amendments on them.. what is an amendment on the passport page?

you can not cross the border to land until the applicant receives actual the COPR paper, which won't be sent until you respond to the passport request. once you receive the COPR paper, you can go to the border and do the landing procedure.

"amendments" probably means any pages in the passport that has corrections or adjustments in the personal information? generally, it is required to send a copy of the bio page of the passport - the page with all the personal information and signature.
