"Continue my profile / application, not yet submitted" is for what?

Hello everyone,

In MyCIC portal there is a section titled (Continue my profile / application, not yet submitted) with two buttons on the right side of it:

• Blue button titled (Continue Application)
• Orange button titled (Delete Application)

I can't remember when I started that thing :

Is it safe to DELETE it? given that I haven't received any ITA yet from any province.

That's a definite ita. DONT DELETE IT else the gods won't forgive you.

Double check your score, there was a draw today for 461 points or more and email in case you got any ghost email

It is weird, because I haven't started one and the process is still way behind ITA stage.

Meaning the process should work this way:

• PT nomination arrives: Done
• Nominee Application sent by post mail: Pending
• AOR from Onatrio: Not yet
• Nomination from OINP: Not yet
• Accept OINP nomination: Not yet
• PNP points added up: Not yet
• CIC ITA arrives: Not yet
• Accept ITA: Not yet, and this is the step where I believe the online application in my first post where it should start. At hindsight it is very likely the online application was started by error right after I created the EE profile last week

Any thoughts?

If you have a CRS sore of 461 or more, you'd have got a 'regular' ITA yesterday. All the steps you've outlined are for applicants who cannot get a 'regular' ITA with their CRS score so they apply to a province hoping to get 600 additional points that will then get them a 'regular' ITA.

Yes Asivad, my CRS is only 410.

It annoys me to see this online application pending, not completed, and I feel it has either to go away or to BE completed.

When I click on (Continue application), it shows a screen of (Your Results) saying:

Your results

Based on the information you provided, the result(s) below indicates whether you may be eligible to come to Canada.
Express Entry

You might be eligible for Express Entry, which includes the following federal economic immigration programs:

the Federal Skilled Worker Program
the Federal Skilled Trades Program
the Canadian Experience Class

Then after clicking on (Continue) button on the right bottom side, the next screen shows an error message:

Our Online Services Are Currently Down
System-generated error code:U69J4V4P (2016-01-07 04:32:22)

Possible reasons::

We are currently updating this Web site.
We are experiencing technical difficulties.

Please try again later.

It has been behaving this way since 1st Jan 2016 ???

Could be a system error. Ignore MyCIC for a day or two and focus on getting your OINP application for now.

Hi guys,

Just like Zaid a while ago I also have an "online application" waiting to be continued or deleted all of a sudden.

It's weird because I received ITA for my permanent residence application on August 2nd and I have been filling the form out ever since. This new "online application" has just been added today under the Continue my profile / application, not yet submitted section but I never started this application. Does anyone know where this online application comes from and whether I can delete it?
