Contacting CIC

Question to inland applicants only. Did you try contacting the CIC/IRCC by phone lately? Did you get through? If so, when did you call and from what location?
I called a few times within the specified business hoirs, but I never get an option to speak to an agent. I am in BC.

I was Calling from ON, i was able to go to agent, but aprox waiting time was 2h30m so i hang up ;p

When the lines are all busy it does not give you an option to speak to an agent. When I contacted them I used to try when they first opened. On the occasions I had to contact them in the middle of the day I just kept trying till I got through. To be honest I find filling in an online form request is more straight forward and you end up having a record of what was communicated. However do not send the online requests for issues that it wasn't designed for otherwise you will just get ignored.

Thanks all for replying.
As for the web form, I did use it. They replied after one month and did not actually respond to my question. Just copied and pasted generic info from the website, so that was super unhelpful.
