Not sure whether they are promoting but i guess they slowed down the process because of that.
Dont think that OOPNP is that easy to get. Bachelors is the minimum education one should have and also should score 400 in CRS so its not very easy to attain specially for those who are applying from outside Canada.

No comment about the $1500, but the title makes sense. Very likely draw #10 will be way over 500 again. Otherwise what's the point for the OOPNP?

Unlikely, Ontario PNP and CIC are two separate government institutions. Ontario PNP is funded by the applicants of PNP, running under Ontario government. CIC is funded by the federal government.

Ontario PNP has been requiring the application fee of $1500 since the beginning of their programme.

If there's no draw today many will apply for OOPNP,

but how long does it take for their nomination to finalize? Will there be no draws until then? what about the other provinces?

One thing is sure, ontario PNP thinks score will not go any where close to 400 any time in near future. Otherwise their programme will become meaningless. it is also possible that they have done it based on feedback from CA.

The OOPNP, like any other PN program, is not that easy to get, especially if you are from outside of Canada. So no conspiracy, specially considering it takes 3 months to get OOPNP. What's interesting is that they set the mark at 400, means they consider that score decent enough for PNP.

400 is not only the killer factor here. Setting Bachelors as minimum criteria is. I am sure about many PGWP holders who studied here for advanced diploma of 3 yrs but they have done only +2 from back home. So age wise they are getting full points in CRS too and some of them have more than 1 years of experience in CANADA.
They studied in Ontario so they can prove strong ties even. But unfortunately they are not qualifying :(

Federal and province work separately. Cannot see a conspiracy. OOPNP will take 2-3 months to nominate. Will there be no draw till then? Not possible. Besides there are only 2700 seats in OOPNP.

What about other provinces? Why will OOPNP be favored? N what about CEC and FSW quota? PNP seats are separate quota.

Yes PNP and LMIA might keep scores high. But does not mean Canada and Ontario are doing conspiracy. My opinion.
