Confusion on job title

Hello everybody,
Before moved to Canada I was working as a "Research Trainee" during Aug 2011- Dec 2012 here in back home. I came back last year and rejoin at the same company as a " Research Assistant". Although Lead Statement/Job Responsibilities are remain same on these two different title. However, while I created EE profile I couldn't find job title " Research Trainee" available in the system but "Research Assistant". In that case, can I edit " Research Trainee" to " Research Assistant" to claim some points? Please Note: I had informed cic (during visa application in 2012) that I'm working as " Research Trainee" not Research Assistant.

Your job title is irrelevant, as long as it matches the NOC chosen there is no need to edit the title (and heck you shouldn't edit it to your convinience in the first place).
