Confirmation deposit the same as tuition deposit?

Hi All,
I am planning to apply for one of the Canadian university for my graduates studies, I.e McGILL University, but according the procedures, after getting admission offer, one need to pay confirmation deposit, pls guys I want to know how much does it cost to pay for the confirmation deposit. is the confirmation deposit a tuition deposit?

It's better to check on the website or to email them directly.

Usually, if you pay confirmation deposit, it is deducted from your total tuition fees.

confirmation deposit is usually deducted later from ur tution fees..
in your LOA, it will be mentioned how much deposit u r supposed to pay .. for universities its usually 1 semester fees ( around 8000 CAD$ i guess. though it varies according to program fees from uni to uni )
