Combining canadian full-time experience with foreign part-time experience for Federal Skilled Workers?

Hi there,

I am a student in Canada, currently on my last study term, graduating in April 2021.

I am looking to apply for permanent residency through Express Entry (Federal Skilled Workers), my employer is willing to apply for a LMIA (to give me extra points), but my question is regarding the minimum requirements/eligibility for the Federal Skilled Workers Program.

I understand the FSW program has a 1 year experience requirement and student work experience is allowed (see: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=394&top=29)

I currently have 8 months of continuous Canadian work experience under the same NOC (2011), and I am currently doing 5 months of Foreign part-time work (same NOC), for 20hrs a week. If I am able to combine these work experiences (fulltime and parttime, foreign and canadian) I will have satisfied the 1 year and 1560 hour criteria for FSW. But my main question is -- can I combine full-time and part-time? and can I combine my canadian and foreign experience? I have found instances online where this has been done.

For part-time + full-time see the following (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/combination-of-part-time-and-full-time-experience.645153/ and https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/primary-occupation-1-year-of-work-experience-either-cec-or-fsw.406803/ ) and for foreign part-time experience being valid see (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/foreign-work-experience-while-full-time-student-for-fsw.389216/page-2)

So my question is, is my following work experience (see below) valid for the minimum requirements of FSW?

  1. 4 month internship (Canada) - 40hrs a week for 16 weeks
  2. 4 month internship (Canada) - 40hrs a week for 16 weeks
  3. 5 month part-time work (Foreign) - 20hrs a week for 20+ weeks

No breaks between any of the experiences, all under the same NOC. Internships count to minimum requirements and Foreign part-time work is supposed to count as well, am I eligible for FSW?

Thank you,
Happy to provide any more information!!

You can combine full time and part time work, however you can’t combine Canadian and foreign work experience to make up the full year.

Both your experiences here are less than 1 year. So you can’t claim points.

you can’t use work experience under student permit for CEC either.

Can I combine the work if all the work is canadian? but I read that part-time work as a student doesn't count (if it is not foreign)
