May I know why people are choosing colleges like Seneca,Centennial College over Universities?

cause some of these colleges are more technical in nature and easier admissions than Unis, some colleges also have more mature students, especially those with relevant or more working experience than in unis. If u attend unis in Canada or US, u will find most unis have majority of the student population straight right out from high school, while in polytechnics or colleges, there is a higher proportion of mature and adults in rather than those just out of high school. If u are looking for some programs that are more technical or require more work experience or want to network with adults or mature students, then colleges may offer a better alternative than Unis. Basically a degree or a Dip from a college or a Uni is the same!
Especially in Canada.
Since there are almost all Academia comes under Govt. regulations thus quality of education is High.
Main difference b/w College and Uni is the Tuition Fee.
College don't offer Master Program
But,there is a tight study environment in colleges than Uni(In Uni,where students are given free hand to do what the like. )
But again, Uni / Colleges don't matter in Canada all that matter is how you graduate from either of these institute.

colleges do offer some masters program for some, the only difference is that they are not research orientated and not research intensive and they do not offer PHD programs.
Tuition can be more expensive at some colleges relative to Universitiies, for some in Ontario, Alberta and many provinces.
It only matters if u graduate or not, not how u graduate!
