Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Finally!!! ;D My wife and 2 minor children file got transferred to local office (Saskatoon) on 6th March 2015. The ECAS still does not reflect this (from the other posts on the forum I understand that ECAS is not very reliable), my wife called the CIC today and the agent informed her that on the system it shows that the file was received at Saskatoon on 6th March :)

Reading the Saskatchewan posts, it looks as the Saskatoon office is moving faster then before 2015 so I am hopeful that by end of 2015, their case will come to a successful and happy conclusion ;)

Congratulations to all the Oath takers including Sept15 :)

Finally Canadian. 107 people attended yesterday afternoon's oath.

when i started this thread there isn't much info about Saskatoon applicants and the whole process (such as time line)

hope this thread will guide Saskatoon applicants through the entire process. seems Saskatoon office is catching up with those in ontario.

it is the time for me to say good bye to this thread.

Thank you all.

became a Canadian today...

if you are having oath soon, this is what you will need for sure:

1) invitation letter
2) release letter (that comes with the invitation letter)
3) permanent residence card - new and expired.
4) COPR.

this being said, you are suppose to bring other documents as per the invitation letter but most probably will not be checked...

the ceremony takes about 1 hour... add the time you need to be there for registration purposes.

good luck to all.

right... as for me, i applied for passport yesterday and it takes 2 weeks for delivery.
i checked my ecas and it says completed and i became a citizen on april 16, 2015.

my partner who applied april 2014, nothing yet... people who have applied jan-feb 2014 are having tests by the end of this month...
i am thinking in june -july 2015, the applicants who applied march-april 2014 should have their tests?

take care
