Citizenship interview Scarborough 2024

I applied on 24th August 2023 . background clear on 27 october 2023.. test cleared 30th October 2023 . Interview on 7th march 2024. Anyone in the same boat or called for in person interview. what documensts we need to take and what is this interview for. Any insight. I will must share my experience here once the interview is done. LPP under process.

My friends got their interview last month. It took 5 min. I believe if you travel outside of Canada they do interview. Basic questions. No need to worry.
After the interview one of them got their LPP completed. Other one also got green except Prohibition

Anyone have experience of physical interview at any citizenship office. Could you please share experience. As i am too much nervous. mine is on 7th March 2024. What they normally ask and why the interview is scheduled often. Anything missing on my file.

After the interview one of them got their LPP completed. Other one also got green except Prohibition

finally I found a post that has almost exactly the same timeline as me.

I got me AOR in August 23, and I am scheduled for an in person interview in Scarborough on the 7th March also, at 1.30pm and have no idea what to expect.

Did you also have to do fingerprints by any chance back in September / October?

It’s comforting to know for sure.
Still don’t know what to expect though!
Though, after doing a lot of research, there’s been cases where people have been asked to do the oath the same day, and a know a couple of people actually scheduled to do the oath on the 7th March at 1pm!

not getting my hopes up. But good luck for that.

True. it is actually a pilot project was there where people were offered oath after interview. But not everyone is invited to interview nor everyone is invited to oath after interview so let see. i am not alone i have children and they are not invited so dont know what scenario will be. i guess everyone is required at oath even kids under 16. lets keep our hopes . what is you research based on your experience why they want to ask . for me there is lot of travel so i guess then might want to see my passport of stamps i believe.

Oh I didn’t know that, regarding the passport stamps.
Well my case is pretty unique but I also have a lot of travel too, that and I am currently outside of Canada also due to emergency circumstances and am not sure when I will plan on moving back, but when I applied this was of course not the case.
I also had to fly back to do fingerprints in December.
