I have just recently realized that I might qualify for Canadian Citizenship. I have looked all over the website but have found no help with my issue. I am a U.S. citizen born to a father and mother who are both U.S. citizens. However, on my fathers side of the family his grandmother and grandfather are Canadians, well until they passed away. So my question is. Do I qualify for citizenship in Canada since my fathers side of the family has a complete history and lineage there? My father never claimed his citizenship, not quite sure if his mother did either, but she has passed away as well. I have all of the names and such of my relatives that were Canadian citizens, if that helps too. Can someone please help me though. I know a new law is coming into affect soon.
Thank you,
Erik
