Thank you for your help, yes I was in one country before moving to Canada. I will go ahead and get a police certificate. Thanks !!
time passed outside Canada was all in one country ? if yes than you will need police certificate.

Within the last 4 years, if you spent 183 days or more in another country (other than Canada), you must provide a police certificate. You must provide a police certificate for each country where you spent 183 days or more. If you cannot get a police certificate, tell us why.
Example 1
In the past 4 years, you took one (1) trip to France that lasted 200 days. You would answer “Yes” to the question and you would need to provide a police certificate from France.
Example 2
In the past 4 years, you took 10 trips to the United States of America (USA). Each trip lasted 3 weeks, for a total of 210 days. You would answer “Yes” to the question and you would need to provide a police certificate from the USA.
Example 3
In the past 4 years, you spent one year (365 days) working in Singapore. While working in Singapore, you took a trip to Malaysia (10 days) and Thailand (10 days). You would answer “Yes” to the question and you would need to provide a police certificate from Singapore. You would not need to provide police certificates from Malaysia or Thailand.
Example 4
In the past 4 years, you took one (1) trip to Europe where you visited Portugal (5 days), Spain (7 days), France (10 days), Belgium (3 days), Netherlands (3 days), Germany (21 days), Switzerland (7 days) and Italy (21 days). You took a second trip to Europe where you visited Ireland (14 days), Scotland (14 days) and England (21 days). You went to Germany for a business trip that lasted 60 days. The total time you were outside of Canada was 186 days but you were not in a single country for 183 days or more. You would answer “No” to the question and you would not need to provide police certificates from any of the countries.

Please I need people to assist me by providing answers to the questions below;

1.I was in Canada in 2013 for 10 days on excursions. Will I include these 10 days as part of my physical presence?
2.In determining my physical presence calculation using cic calculator,I came to Canada in January 2014 with 6 months TRV,on getting to Canada, I made a refugee claim around February and I became a protected person in April. My question here is ,will I include the period I was a claimant before becoming a protected person as still part of my visiting period or I will ignore it? I. e between February and April 2014 when I was a claimant but my TRV was still valid though my passport was confiscated .
3.When i became a permanent residence,I travelled with my passport once to a third country and when it expired there after I renewed the passport here in canada in my country's high commission. Hope this will not have any negative effect in determining my citizenship?
Thanks in anticipation of your quick answers, suggestions and way forward.

No one answered my question:)
"Names" (one of factor) determine if you need FP or not... if there are multiple people with same name in your area, they need to ensure "who" you are & if there is any criminal proceedings pending against you, or, if your prints were taken from any known crime scene..

Folks, I received my GMCS notes today. The primary office is IRCC Mississauga & the Secondary Office as St. Clair however I received a notification on April 3rd to write the test in Scarborough. I understand that applicants that have to deal with Scarborough are having lots of delays as they don't get their Oath notifications on the test day & have been waiting for months after ECAS updates to Decision Made.

Is it possible that I have been given a test appointment in Scarborough but the rest of my application ie. oath etc. will be at IRCC Mississauga as I live in Mississauga & the office is literally a 10 minute drive from my home.

Does anyone have knowledge/experience with this?

Thanks ^ regards

You may be lucky because my Brampton friend did his test in Scarborough in January and received invitation for oath 2 weeks later also from Scarborough. It looks like they are faster for cased transferred to them.

Hello Everyone,

I received my AOR in 11th of Jan. 2018, and my online account got updated to "In process" in 27th of Jan. 2018. After that I have not received any kind of new updates on my online account, while I am seeing many people from Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto, ... and many places in Canada have already received their test invitation or even have taken their oath!

I checked the processing time of some of applicants from Winnipeg in the provided spreadsheet and I am seeing most of them have had a very slow processing progress compared to the applicants form other cities.

What do you think about the applications sent from Manitoba, Winnipeg? It looks like this city has the lowest speed of application considerations compared to almost all large cities in Canada! Is that right, or I am just making a mistake?!

Any helpful comment regarding the applications sent from Winnipeg is appreciated.

I sent my application at the end of Oct. 2017, and am from Winnipeg!

Thanks,
Winnipeg is definitely not as slow as Scarborough or Mississauga in the Toronto area trust me on that. I just had my test and I have been in process since November. I was told by the interviewer that my Oath will likely be in October.

So they are intentionally making it a 12 month process even though there is no need to keep dragging people in this.

Dont think it will get so much delayed usually from 2 weeks to 2 months after test
.. I am from Mississauga too .. what was the reason you ordered GMCS notes? .. did you get test right after ordering it?
