I had F1 visa from 2005 - 2012. I immigrated to Canada in 2009, and since 2013 I have B1/B2 visitor visa.
I think USCIS can provide you the status information. Please contact them to see if they can help.

SCSquare,

I am saying since you included time spent here visiting while in the US + a Canada address after moving AND (as you explained) your US visa was still active prior to your moving but after you became PR, they probably asked more questions.

The counterexample is: You have a valid US visa, you moved up and waited till your 4 years past addresses were ALL Canada, that would have still meant your visa was valid after moving here until it expired but that because you put in extra time here, the time frame when you were in the US on that same visa and visiting Canada was no longer included. (hence, all Canada addresses in the past 4 years).
I never had a visiting visa of Canada, so I never visited Canada prior to getting my PR.
Yes, but you are correct to certain extend that for a period of a month or 2, where I could have shown that I was in Canada, but actually would have been in USA due to my valid visa status and no stamp on passport. Thus, I gave them my travel records based on I-94 obtained from US border security and CBSA.

Hi SCsquare,

Thank you very much for the information. I gathered the items 1)- 2) already. I will need
to contact my university for the letter stating that my F1 already expired.

Now what about the item 4) B1/B2 current status?? is it from Embassy or other agency?

Another questions for item 2) getting the travel history using i-94 is enough??, because
I was most of my trips to USA is by car, those entry/exit is not shown in I-94 report? Most of my trips are day trips
which I had to include in my RQ report.
what should I do now? Should I contact US customs border protection about this information??
I have already contacted CSBA to get the report ?? Since they do not ask for that why should I get them anyways??
For item 4) you can go to https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and get the current status of your B1/B2.

For item 2) Yes travel history of I-94 should be enough since, the I-94 site name was given to me by the CIC officer who interviewed me. Also the site also says that print out from the site can be considered as an official document. i-94 site is same as US customs border protection.

the I-94 site is

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

This website provides limited access to arrival and departure date records of nonimmigrant aliens entering and departing the United States which are maintained in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP's) Nonimmigrant Information System (NIIS).

Hi SCsquare,

Thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate that.

For Item 4) when I click the link it says entery receipt number?? what do I put there?? do I put my B1/B2 visa number or what?

oh if printing out from I-94 (CBP) website will be considered as an official document that is great, i do not need to contact
the embassy or USCIS.

Now the last thing remained is to finish item 4) which is my current status of B1/B2.

thanks a lot,

For Item 4)
The receipt number is a unique 13-character identifier that USCIS provides for each application or petition it receives. The agency uses it to identify and track its cases.

The receipt number consists of three letters-for example, EAC, WAC, LIN, SRC, NBC, MSC or IOE-and 10 numbers. You can find it on notices of action USCIS has sent you.

For H1-B visa petion I had my I-797 receipt letter from USCIS which has the EAC****** number on it. I had used that. Check to see if your B1/B2 visa has some number of that sort.

Hi SCsquare,

For this link https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

I did not have any case number starting EAC or anthing,

However,

I did go to https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

and entered my Application ID or Case Number when I applied for USA B1/B2 visa

U.S. Department of State
NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
Issued
Application ID or Case Number: AA004VRQ..
Case Creation Date: 01-Jan-2014
Status Updated Date: 05-Jan-2014

Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it after more than five (5) working days, please visit www.usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/us_courier_information to track your courier waybill, to check your profile at the appointment website, or send an email to Contactus_en_ca@usvisa-info.com to determine the status of your passport.

Just printing this will be enough to show that I have received my Visa?? because B1/B2 visa is already in my passport, I think there are more interested in my F1 status correct?

print i94 and check your entries to make sure all of them are there

I checked my i94 entries and one was missing but when i ordered FOIA records, i saw the missing entry there.

FOIA records are more accurate as compared to I94.

Hi,

I guess it is missing one and does not include all the crossing by land. However, ordering FOIA it will take time and I have only 30 days. How long it takes to receive from FOIA?

it took me over a month.

i am sure that some of your land departures might be incorrect because as per i94 websites, land departures are not always recorded properly.

Land crossings not showing at all, only times it shows if I require new I-94 when I cross by land, but if I cross and my I-94 is valid no records are being recorded,

I have only travelled between USA and Canada by Land. In my i-94 travel history...

1) All enteries were on same i-94
2) I had 2 missing enteries.
3) I had 2 enteries with same dates (Left USA 30th Aug, Entered 9th Aug, Left 30th Aug)

The CIC officer only wanted to check my last entry exit record from USA to Canada. Even if the travel dates were wrong it still proved that I hadn't entered USA after 30th Aug.

But I submitted a letter explaining the issue i.e. the dates were wrong, and other proof that I had not and could not travel after that date to USA.
