CIC updated its forms after I completed my application

Hi,

cic updated its forms (in late October) after I completed, validated and signed my sponsorship application form. Do I have to fill out the new updated version of the forms or can I send whatever I have filled? Please help.

Have you actually SENT your application?

If no..you must go with the updated forms. You will have to redo them. If you dont chances are your app will be returned as the forms are not the most recent.

If you sent it before they updated them, youre fine.

From experience with the update from a few days ago (they updated the forms a few HOURS before i went to the courier depot!) while its a pain to redo them.. The updates made were minimal and barely noticable so its a case of just refilling in the new ones.

Take the extra hour now rather than losing possible months if they return your app.

Agree with above. Take some extra time now to avoid a heartbreaking delay down the road. They can take 40 days just to open the package so its best to avoid any possibility of it being sent back.

When in late October were they updated? I've mailed my package on October 19. Am I in trouble?

They were updated Tues 24th.. Youre good!
